OUR STORY
FOUNDING INSPIRATION
Handi-Fuel was born out of necessity. My eyes were briefly opened to the inaccessibility around us when I broke my arm and it was further amplified observing the challenges faced by my aunt when she broke her foot. I remember going out to fill gas in her car because she would be exhausted from hopping over stairs and I thought to myself there has to be a better way. That is when I came up with the idea of automated exit-less refuelling. Now me and my fellow students from the Lassonde School of engineering are solving inaccessibility at gas stations faced by 2 million people in Ontario and further 6.2 million Canadians using robotics and artificial intelligence.
MISSION
Our mission is to utilize advanced robotic technology to promote accessibility, Canadian innovation, and inclusivity, empowering drivers with mobility challenges to thrive in a more united and equitable Canada.
VISION
